Dr. Juarbe attended medical school in the Dominican Republic and completed his pediatrics specialty training in Puerto Rico, where he had a solo practice for eight years. A Diplomat of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Juarbe has been a practicing Pediatrician in the Midland area since 1995.

Dr. Maxam attended Michigan State University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her specialty training in Pediatrics at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. Herself a mother of four, knows firsthand the importance of taking time to talk with parents and address their concerns. She is particularly interested in ADHD, adolescent care, behavioral medicine, asthma care, and breast feeding. She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been practicing in the Midland area since August of 2001.

Family Medicine Associates Pediatrics is pleased to announce the addition of Anna MacDougall, P.A. to our practice. Anna is a Mid-Michigan native, attending initially MidMichigan Community College, studying Phlebotomy. Anna proceeded to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Central Michigan University in May of 2018, after which she spent a year in the Peace Corps, working in Liberia and West Africa on health education initiatives to include prenatal care, sexual health, and malaria prevention. Upon returning to the states Anna worked as a preschool teacher, Crisis Call Worker, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters Case Manager. Anna’s passion of working with children and medicine led her to return to Central Michigan University where she obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in July of 2024. Although a new graduate, Anna brings with her many experiences and lessons in life to include resilience, hard work, and human nature, which is essential in helping bridge the gap between the medical world and everyday people.

Cheri Daniels, P.A.-C received her Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree, Sports Medicine, in 2000 from Central Michigan University. Cheri became a Certified Athletic Trainer, with seven years field experience working with NCAA division III student-athletes, providing athletic training coverage, including prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation. Cheri returned to Central Michigan University, graduating in 2011, with Masters of Science Degree, Physician Assistant. Cheri has over ten years of pediatric provider care experience, as well as serving in a teaching capacity for the Physician Assistant Program at Central Michigan University. Cheri is an experienced, highly valuable member of our staff, providing quality care to our patients and community. Cheri is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Pediatrics.

We are pleased to have Brittany Reiber, P.A.-C as a part-time provider and team member of Family Medicine Associates. Brittany Reiber, P.A.-C completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan University in August of 2018, recently returning to Central Michigan University in August of 2023, becoming part of the Central Michigan University Faculty Physician Assistant Program. Brittany has great knowledge and an experienced skill set, as well as sincerity and compassion for the practice of pediatrics. Brittany is a great asset to our practice, providing high quality care to our patients and community, as well as educating future Physician Assistants.

Family Medicine Associates of Midland is pleased to announce our New Care Manager, Jaime Kretz. Jaime earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Saginaw Valley State University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education from Western Michigan University. Jaime most recently worked as a Registered Nurse at Covenant and comes to our practice with extensive experience, to include pediatric infant/toddler care. Jaime looks forward to helping patients and their families with any guidance or assistance in their health care needs.
